Durbanville High School holds an annual debating competition. Internal competitions are arranged for each grade in order to compile ranking lists.
The school enters participants for the regional and national debating competitions. During the past few years we have regularly had a learner in the semi-finals of the countrywide ATKV competition and in 2010 we’re determined to showcase the talents of our Afrikaans and English debaters.
