Academic

Each year during the past three years one of our learners has achieved a place on the WCED Merit List:

Tim Acker, 9th (2005)
Stephan Heunis, 5th (2006)
Juan Janse van Rensburg, 19th (2007)

Candidates achieving A symbols in Matric during the past three years:
2005: 28 out of 170 (16.5%)
2006: 30 out of 139 (21.5%)
2007: 37 out of 163 (22.7%)
2008 :32 candidates achieve distinctions in four or more subjects.
80% achieve Matric exemption.


Sport

Our learners can pride themselves on:

National colours in athletics, biathlon, karate, rhythmic gymnastics, target shooting, water skiing and tennis
Provincial colours in athletics, netball, hockey, rugby, golf, action netball, target shooting, karate, wrestling, rhythmic gymnastics, triathlon, Polo Crosse.

In 2008 our u.19-A netball team won the WP Schools Knockout Championships. They achieved third place in the National Knockout Competition. In 2009 we could boast with a second place in the Western Cape.


Culture

Our learners regularly steal the spotlight at the ATKV Nasionale Toneelkompetisie. Here are a few of our recent achievements at this prestigious competition:
1st place (2002 and 2006)
3rd place (2007)
Best actor and actress (2006)

In 2009 our production Lara Smit – Boernooi was awarded the overall third place, while the production’s Ensemble and Technical teams were announced as the national winners in their respective divisions.
