• Grade 8 and 9 learners choose ten compulsory subjects.
• Music can be taken as an additional subject (piano or instrument) provided the learner has the required competence. The music teachers will evaluate this competence.
• All prospective Grade 8 learners have the opportunity to follow the music stream as part of Arts and Culture.
• Learners can take English Home Language HG or Additional Language HG.
• Learners can take additional subjects from Grade 10 if their performance and aptitude allow it.
• A second art subject can be taken at the Art Centre from Grade 10.
• An additional amount is payable for IT, CAT, Dramatic Arts, Art and Additional Mathematics.
